1900-1910

The turn of the century decade began one of transition and progress and is considered the first decade of materialism and consumerism. The Industrial age was in full swing, mass production made prices fall to all-time lows. During this decade, safety in food processing and the environment became issues and laws were enacted.
1910-1920
A decade dominated by the World War I. The United States has become the world's most powerful industrial countries. United States produces and consumes 70% of world oil. Midwest vast, fertile land produces 75% of world wheat and corn 30 percent, its cheap food monopoly on the European market. • An immigration country in 1917, the US population of 100 million people. The United States is a multicultural mix of the country. People living in the United States are either immigrants or descendants of immigrants it is. 1920-1930
the 1920s were a decade full of major cultural and social change. Henry Ford designed the model T, Alexander Fleming Discovers Penicillin. Not very much significance in the 1920s, though people are really happy during that time.
1930-1940
The impact of the great depression in 1929 is far more profound than any recession in history. 1940-1950

1950-1960
Civil right movement took place, and african american was valued and they are being treated equally. The outbreak of the Korean War, South Korea and North Korea eventually split. Elvis Presley popular in Europe and the United States, the Soviet Union launched the first artificial satellite which pushed American further. American people started to watch TV.
1960-1970
Drug and civil right movement both take place. American involved in the cold war. In 1960 the United States presidential election, is the state of Hawaii and Alaska for the first time to vote, Democrat John F. Kennedy was elected, beat the Republican candidate, when he was appointed Vice President Richard Nickerson. MLK made his famous speech in August 28, 1963, "I have a dream.". John Kennedy was assassinated in November 22, 1963, was succeeded by Vice President Linden Jason. Linden Jason to promote basic power legislation.
1970-1980
Nixon opens talks with China, Wage-price controls were estiblished, Pentagon Papers published on world war 2, Intensive bombing of North Vietnam, Watergate took place, Nixon re-elected, with GDP over 1 trillion american Cease-fire in Vietnam. 44% of married women employed, U. S. recognizes china, USSR invaded Afghanistan
1980-1990
People are scared with the coldwar and there’s the fear of war during the time, alough technical improvement has come to american’s life, computer were created.
1990-2000
The coldwar ended and people started to use internet at their office and home.
