Right of Voting Is Significant for Changing the Position of Female

I am strongly compelled by the opinion of Anne Phillips analyzes in Chapter 22 Quotas for Women that “equal rights to a vote have not proved strong enough to deal with this problem; there must also be equality among those elected to office.” (Phillips 186) What I learn from this point of view are that right to a vote could solve the problem of the unbalanced position of female in the male-dominated society, and the degree of promoting this right belong to female still has a zone to push further.

The reasons I pay attention to this opinion lie in the significance of voting in the politics life of a state. The vote is the first step to choosing an officer that has the duty of making policies influence the role of female. Hence, the female will make seriously decision to choose a person to push regulations and policies interest them. It is equal right a vote of female that will change the position of female in the male-dominated society top to down. The structure of the society is unbalanced that the most of the positions in the department of government are dominated and controlled by a male. However, endowing the right of a volt to female and the freedom to choose the person they believe has the power to change the structure of the government. More and more female occupy the significant position of the government.

However, the degree of the right for female excites on the top face of the politics life of a state. Since female has the duty of fertility, the progress in the department will be limited. So, the male has the advantage in job career. For ordinary women, they are put in the position of hopeless, unskilled and non-paid jobs. They have separated away from the rights of participation the affairs of state.

It is obviously that the equal right a vote not only could change the position of female but also motivating the amelioration of the social politics.
