Ideology and Social Order

Ideology and Social Order

Ideology refers to the method that people comprehend and cognize to things. It is a collection of several of factors such as thoughts, consciousness, concepts, and values. The reason that people in different countries value things in different methods is attributed to ideology originates from social existence instead of intrinsic existing. Nowadays, human beings are living in a comprehensive world that different countries have different ideologies. It is the main reason in influencing the world order and the conflicts between different ranges. Generally speaking, ideology has the power of shape the social order of a country and influence the living style of every individual.

First and foremost, the ideology of liberal, thinks I, has the function of offer the best blueprint. It is easy to list the advantages of liberal in providing the superior social order. To begin with, liberal is a part of an ideology which is a collection of a series of schools of thoughts that regards the liberty as the main political value. The characteristics of liberal are to perusing development, believing the kind nature of human beings and supporting the autonomy of individuals. Besides, ideology proposes relaxing or even preventing the controlling of authoritarian regimes to human beings. Moreover, individuals have the right and ability to peruse freedom and to build the society that can protect the right of freedom of thoughts. The law restricts the operation of the government to the rights and power. The notion of free trade and the policies of the market economy are supported and promoted. Owing to the facts expressed above, individuals can offer the best blueprint of society and build the most harmonious homeland.

Furthermore, fascist has the greatest potential for abuse. The whole world got into trouble of the two world wars which brought the massive massacre to some countries. The two world wars were brought by the Germany, the country controlled by a fascist. Fascism is a form of extreme autocratic in the countries of capitalism. It represents power, violence, terror and foreign aggression. The three forms of the world fascism are Nazism in Germany, Italy fascism, and militarism in Japanese. For example, these three countries both brought great calamity catastrophes to countries in Asia in the 19th century. Besides, fascist countries killed Jew because they believed that they were the inferior nation. China was still in the catastrophe of the massive invasion of Japan.  The theories of supporting fascism are Racial Level, Country First, Will First, and Power Theory. “Fascism tends to celebrate masculinity, youth, mystical unity, and the regenerative power of violence.” (Matthew N. Lyons). Hence, the fascist has the potential of abuse if it is still promoted in the world today.

Last but not least, socialist is the connection between the ideal societies of my favorite ideology at home and it plays a significant role in pursuing world order and international relations. The socialist advocates protecting the freedom of individuals, adjusting the contradictories in society and safeguarding liberal competition. In the society of socialist, individuals could obtain benefits from the competition of completely free market and personal interests can be achieved in the groups. “Economic efficiency under socialism is greater than under capitalism, the means of production are not left in the market forces rather they are controlled and regulated by the central planning authority towards chosen end.” (Umar Farooq)  In the aspect of international relations, peace is the permanent topic. Countries in the world can be promoted in the efforts together. The politics, economy and the environment are both operated in the tempo of reasonably and harmoniously.

It is time to make a conclusion. Ideology is the main reason that leads to the diversity of the world order and the essential cause of the conflicts between different countries and nations.  The function of ideology can be reflected from the overwhelming power of identifying and changing the social order.
