What kind of social order?

Social order is the behavior rules, moral discipline, laws and regulations that people must obey in their social activities, and it shows a dynamic and balanced status. In a society, there is always confliction and disorder phenomena if we could control this disease in an individual range we call this order. Men have gone through slave society, feudal society, capitalist society and socialist society, in each of which the social order has its characteristic. In the process of human development, people never stop the steps to finding an ideal social order for constructing the ideal society.

Ideology has played the guiding role in how to build the ideal society. "Ideology represents the imaginary relationship of individuals to their real conditions of existence" (Lenin 109). Ideology is the understanding and perception of things; it is the sum of sense, concept, idea, value, etc. it is not the already existing idea in mind, it follows the society. Ideology is used to provide the blueprint of social order. From the ideologies we have studied so far--traditional, liberal, fascist, neo-liberal, nationalist, and socialist.

The characteristic of Socialist society is public ownership：People have the equal rights to share; there is no rank and no class. People are willing to sacrifice their profit for the whole family. Every person is the master of the country. China is a typical socialist society. The China Paton is the best proof of socialist society; China has shown the world best way to the terminal ideal society. Recent years, China has been in political stability, and the military force is getting stronger as well as china’s economy is witnessing a rapid development; National Happiness Index is increasing continuously. People’s living standard is rising. Although we are facing various difficulties, Chinese people are willing to solve them together under the leadership of Chinese government. China has shown the world a best socialist society, whose experience could be followed by the other socialist countries.

The ideology has the successful example. Also, it may have the abused situation. Neo-liberal is one possibility of the cases. Neo-liberal emphasizes the importance of free market adjustment; it oppose the unnecessary intervention from the nation and government. It proposes the fully marketization and liberalization. In the global market, international trade is entirely free competition. In fact, this is just an idea market, which divorces from reality. For example, recently, the international oil price is moving down, which hits the new lowest record continually. It is even cheaper than the water and milk. If there is no government interference and state control, the domestic oil market is all mess. The oil company will suffer a big loss because the production cost of oil is much higher than the price in the international crude oil market. So while we claim the free market, we have to create a better control system to avoid the market plunging into confusion by over freedom. That is why the “states have made in such international institutions such as the EU, NATO, GATT, and regional trading organizations”(Keohane and Martin47).

No matter which kind of ideology it all has its advantage and disadvantage. There is no particular judgment. Back to our home life, I love a more democracy and liberty. At home, we usually act as the executors, not the decision maker. The parents planned our life when we are young; the boss decided our work life when we are old our children will become the conductor. So it is not a good feeling that everything controlled by others, I hope every family member is free to talk and has the decision independently.
