Sustainable development helps human beings
Nowadays, as the development of modern society, it also brings some problems to the natural world. In order to maintain a sustainable development, we need to pay attention to the environmental protection and at the same time, we have to find out different ways to solve this problem. Personally, it is of great importance to persist in sustainable development if we want to protect our environment in the long-term.
First and foremost, “the profound meaning of sustainable development is joint development, parallel development, fear development, efficiency development and multilateral development” (Russell 67). Joint efforts mean that all the people in the world, all the government in the world should work towards one goal to realize the implement of sustainable development. Coordinate development refers to the 3 areas should develop at the same time, and the three area includes economics, politics, and the environment. We should also give the same development chance to the developing countries in the world. Some heavy industries in the developing countries should be paid global attention and those rich countries also need to give those countries some professional help. Those help could enhance the productivity of the work developed countries have done, and also assist them to decrease the emission of poisonous gas and materials.
Besides, sustainable development can ensure that we can have more energy to use, and we could live better in the world. We cannot deny that human beings’ behavior have a strong effect on our nature. Over-grazing, over-cultivation and deforestation could all lead to the dry-out of the natural energy. As a great philosopher, one said, “Any wrong behavior of people to the environment can cause damage to people themselves, this is an indisputable truth” (Lele 35). The illegal usage of natural resources can cause damage to the human themselves. Several years later, if we still use the resources as we do now, more forests would disappear gradually, more animals lose their home, and we have less and less drinkable water. So, the implementation of sustainable development plan could save our resources and at the same time, keep human beings themselves.
Last but not least, sustainable development serves as a long-term plan to protect our nature, improve the development of economics. In order to achieve the goal of sustainable development, first of all, we need to correct the wrong behavior of ourselves in our daily life to the environment. For example, when we leave a room, we can close the light of that room. That is a valuable saving virtue to the human-beings. From that example, we can clearly see that we can protect the environment from every little thing in our daily life. Apart from that, the government had better encourage the organizations or individuals to find different new ways to improve the gradually deteriorated environment, for example, the invention of the clean energy and the decrease of the carbon dioxide emission. All these can contribute to the improvement of the environment. As long as we take the action to do that, we can acquire the benefits from our efforts. The sky will be bluer, the forests will be lusher, and our mood will be better. Moreover, all that can advance the pace of human beings.
All in all, sustainable development plays the role of solving the environmental problems. If we would like to have a bluer sky, greener forests, and better air quality, we need to join our efforts to achievement the goal of sustainable development. And at the same time, we should protect the environment in our daily life and do not waste materials or destroy nature and animals also.
