No one will deny that one of the results of the development of the society is the generation of the new ideas and accepted by the public. The channels for the spreading of the new ideas and thoughts are changed from single to various benefits from the development of the economy and technology. We can easily figure out the ways of conveying the significant thoughts. From the beginning, the letter that is sent by birds and people with horses is the common ways for people in ancient. Moreover, then, the discovery of the lights made it possible that the telegram plays a significant role in conveying messages and save lots of time. The television came into the life of common people since the advanced development of social economy and technology. Until now, the television is one of the necessary household applications for a family. Moreover, almost all of the messages and news of the world are conveyed and transformed through television. Besides that, it still helps us to do many things such as shopping, playing games and surfing. The position of the television is increasingly unchangeable and cannot be replaced by other methods. Even though the generation of the web brings influence to television, it is still the main application for receiving messages from people in some places. However, a series of opinions think that the consequences of the television are obvious. For example, the essay, Television Addiction Is No Mere Metaphor, written by Robert Kubey and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi expresses the idea that human beings are impacted and influenced deeply or even changed by the things they produced. The television does amend the life of people a lot and to the negative aspects. In my opinion, television as a public platform has the duty of spreading positive thoughts.

First and foremost, the essay about the influence of the television conveys a series of opinions for us which can be concluded the crimes of television. On one hand, the television provides diversity pastime for us which should be accepted without any selected. We can watch all kinds of programs that we are eager to watch. The programs are produced as the standers of applying for the favor of the audiences to gain profits. However, sometimes, we cannot choose but just to accept. Television provides human beings a leisure time to enjoy, and it emerges in our eyes and minds when we need silence. People create it to fill the blank time in life but do not teach it how to keep silence smartly when we are engaged in business. The influence of the television brings to us can be reflected from the aspect of the contradictory that we create it but cannot limit it. On the other hand, the essay still analyzes the influence of the television to us from the angle of science that the reaction of human beings to the television is explained in the laboratory. The moods of people before and after watching TV are changeable. Since the analysis the evidence provided by the essay, a conclusion can be received that television as a new kind of product of technology reflects the intelligent of human beings but impacts the life of us at the same time.

Moreover, a series of impacts of television can be listed from my angle. First, the generation of the television not only brings the direct images, beautiful sounds, and massive information but also speed up the tempo of lifestyle. The overflow of the advertisements can be the best reflection. “However, with products requiring greater economic effort, older adults showed differences in their attitudes to trope ads and explicit ads depending on their degree of involvement with the product.” (M. Estrada, M. A. Moliner, J. Sánchez) These advertisements are made to gain exceed economic benefits without severely checking, and they are usually transformed in the golden time which means a great number of people including children and youngsters will watch. These advertisements engage much time for us to rest and influence our mind and attitude silence. Second, the method of thoughts are increasingly simple and directly. The popularity of the television makes the space of image for the public become smaller and smaller. The consequence of this phenomenon is that the inertia thoughts emerge. Because what we only know are received from the information the television conveyed. We cannot think as our mind and method, and we increasingly doubt ourselves especially when our ideas are different from the television. Third, the metal of the youngsters will become mature early then before. The content of some TV programs is beyond the living experience of them which can form a greenhouse effect and speed up the mature of the seedlings. They absorb much information that are not suited for them, and the accumulations of these messages which lack nutrition are not the real world of these children and youngsters. A series of social problems such as the criminal, drug taking and rape of youngsters are increasingly severely.

Last but not least, measures must be taken since the negative influence of the television for the life of human beings. “Some scholars have claimed that communication during television viewing is nonexistent, talking occurred during 20 percent of family television time.”(Robert Kubeya) On one hand, the law and regulations about the checking of the TV programs should be established by the department of the government. The processes of checking must be severe. For the main channels that will be watched by most in the country, the content of the programs should be positive. A series of channels that are suited for adults can be concluded and set a password. On the other hand, it is the duty of the country to encourage the interesting of the public to read books. The libraries, the special bookstores, the activities about books should be built and held to limit the time of watching TV.

It is time to make a conclusion. The generation of the television is the enormous progress made by human beings. It is the evidence of the intelligent of us, but we are hurt by our smart. Our lives become interesting and still interrupted by television without our agreements. Our moods are changeable because of the influence of the television. Our living qualities are decreased, and even our generations are still the victim of our intelligent. We must take measures to avoid the descent of our lives and future. The first progress of human beings is the invention of the television and the second one is to limit the result of the first one and turn our life come back to original.
